Mimosa Elementary School charters Georgia’s newest PTA

Mimosa Elementary school, located in Roswell, chartered Georgia’s newest PTA tonight. The group, gathered inside the school’s cafeteria as a torrential downpour occurred outside, adopted its bylaws and elected a new Board. Andrea Groves, Mimosa’s newly elected PTA president, accepted a check for $1,000 from the North Fulton Council of PTAs – money that had been donated in part from local units across North Fulton. First order of business – setting up a bank account so the new PTA can cash that check!
